RAWHIDE OFFERS THRILLS AND CHILLS AT ANNUAL "DOOMTOWN" HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION AND CARNIVAL

Chandler, Ariz. (Sept., 2006) -Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass extends the spooky fun of Halloween with its "Doomtown" event taking place Oct. 20-22 and 26-31 from 6 p.m. to close.

Themed around the intricate story of Digger Payne, an undertaker gone mad who holds an annual carnival to attract new victims, Rawhide guests will be entertained and terrorized by the spooky décor and wealth of activity such as actors along Main Street, a stunt show featuring Digger Payne, an old fashioned side show of freakish displays, the "House of Whacks" walkthrough terror tunnel, haunted train, Kreepy Kid's Zone and much more! With dozens of new attractions at this year's event, including a heart-pounding motion simulator ride, this promises to be Rawhide's most exciting "Doomtown" event yet.

An added "Carnival of Horrors" featuring rides, midway games and classic carnival cuisine, will be held Oct. 26-31 and offers fun for all ages.

The "Doomtown" theme is carried throughout Rawhide, even into the Steakhouse & Saloon. Keep an eye out throughout the town for ghost-riders, flying objects from above, hangings, chainsaw-wielding maniacs a man-eating chicken and of course, Digger Payne. "Doomtown" is perfect for the entire family. Kids six and under will enjoy Main Street activities as well as the Kreepy Kid's Zone designed just for them where they'll be greeted by a friendly witch offering several age-tailored activities.

For those looking for a more personal experience this Halloween, Rawhide offers the "Haunted Cookout" on Oct. 28. Enjoy a wagon ride to a private outdoor setting for a hearty meal and live entertainment as well as ghost stories and marshmallow-roasting. Ghost-riders have also been known to make appearances at these frightening festivities. The "Haunted Cookouts" include your choice of steak or chicken with all of the accoutrements at $45 for adults and $19 for children 12 and under, not including tax. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
