SPARTAN RACE

Saturday, February 11th, 2012

Distance: 8 - 9 miles of the gnarly, rugged and extreme.

Start Times:
Heats start at 9am with up to 250 racers and continue every 30 minutes throughout the day. Enter the 9am "Elite" heat if you want to be as competitive as possible and race against the best.

Aid Stations:
None.... hydrate before or carry your own water on the course. Or plan on drinking river water (not recommended).

All Racers Receive:
- Finishers Medal
- T-Shirt
- Free Beer ticket for anyone 21 and over
- A chance to play on some really unique terrain
- Bragging Rights
- Free Mud
- A scrape (or two)
- More stories to tell

Spectators: Spectator tickets are $10 and sold onsite (please bring cash, limited Credit Card services are available). As a Spartan Race spectator, you get $5 Spartan bucks redeemable at the merchandise tent, a festival map, and rad access to some obstacles on the course, the epic Gladiator pit and finish line, the vendor tents, and hot food for sale on the grounds! As a spectator you can do our Spartan Time Trial mini course with prizes up for grabs. So try your hand with our spear throwing while enjoying live music and watching your friends and loved ones slip and slide through the Spartan course in the safety and comfort (and relative mudlessness) of the Spartan Race festival ground areas! Raffles, entertainment, free muddy hugs from Spartan athletes, and all the other festival perks make this the best $10 you'll ever spend and we promise the next ticket you will want to buy will be a race entry!

ROAD RUNNER REGIONAL RODEO

Feb. 17 - 19, 2012

The Arizona Gay Rodeo Association is proud to host its Annual Road Runner Regional Rodeo (RRRR) at the Rawhide Arena and Pavilion. Come and enjoy LIVE entertainment, BBQ meals, vendor shopping in the Pavilion, and two days of rodeo events.

RIDE 'N DINE SPECIAL

Round up the posse and hit the dusty trail at Rawhide. Saddle up at Rawhide and go horseback riding down Main Street to Koli Equestrian Center. Take in the beauty of miles of breathtaking scenery and horseback riding trails you and your family are sure to enjoy. Then tie up your horse at the Steakhouse and dig in to a hearty meal fit for a cowboy at Rawhide Steakhouse, Arizona's original family steakhouse.

With two great options to choose from, you can't go wrong. So saddle up and let the fun begin!
